Services and Scope of Work

Del Tutto specializes in the design, engineering, and construction of bespoke concrete pools and comprehensive outdoor living spaces. The specific scope of work, timeline, and deliverables for each project will be outlined in a separate, formal Master Build Agreement or Project Contract provided prior to the commencement of any work.

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by Del Tutto are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Due to the fluctuating costs of raw materials (such as steel and concrete) and site-specific conditions discovered during excavation, Del Tutto reserves the right to revise quotes if the contract is not signed within this period. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.

Payment Terms

Our projects are subject to staged progress payments. A standard payment schedule typically includes a non-refundable deposit upon contract signing, followed by progress payments at key milestones (e.g., completion of excavation, concrete pouring, finishing/tiling, and final handover). Specific payment terms will be detailed in your individual contract. Late payments may incur interest charges.

Council Consents and Compliance

In New Zealand, most concrete pools and retaining walls require building consents and must adhere to strict pool fencing regulations. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, Del Tutto will manage the application process for relevant council consents on behalf of the client. However, all council fees, inspections, and associated costs are the responsibility of the client.

Warranties and Guarantees

We pride ourselves on premium craftsmanship. Del Tutto provides warranties on the structural integrity of our concrete pools and associated works in accordance with the New Zealand Building Act and the Consumer Guarantees Act. Specific warranties for third-party equipment (e.g., pumps, filters, heating systems, and lighting) are passed on from the respective manufacturers.

Intellectual Property

All architectural designs, 3D renders, engineering plans, and landscaping concepts created by Del Tutto remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Del Tutto reserves the right to professionally photograph completed projects and use these images for our portfolio, website, and marketing materials, ensuring client privacy and exact location details remain confidential.
